Anki

It’s a bunch of cars racing around on a mat on stage. I’m not sure what this has to do with anything. Real time accident traffic analytics. Remote controls and real world data collection. You can play with these cars using your phones.

Mac

Mac 5 year growth is up 100% over pc’s 18% overall growth. #1 in customer satisfaction and quality. 28 million copies of Mountain Lion shipped. 35% of users are using it vs Windows users slow to adopt 8.

Next OS X naming convention: not Sea Lion nor cats (due to dwindling supply). OS X Mavericks includes:

Finder tabs
Tagging
Multiple Displays (full screen sorely lacking from Mt. Lion!), includes dock on each
Airdrop via Air Play – move files around on a network more easily
Drag & Drop to Apple TV – example: Keynote
Less CPU activity per specific apps
Compressed memory
Safari improvements – thumbnail view of Safari, sidebar, scroll through reading list, and shared links (from Twitter & LinkedIn follows), power saver, background tab optimization, process per tab, faster load, improved scrolling, optimized for retina displays.
Mail: accelerated scrolling.
New look for Reader

iCloud Keychain:
Password management. Credit card #s, wifi logins, always encrypted, synced across your systems, add only your icloud password. Safari will suggest keywords for you and remember them.
