How to install WordPress to your server

Starting your own website using WordPress involves 8 steps.
Steps to install WordPress (if using Hostgator)
- Login, browse to Fantastico
- Click WordPress
- New Installation
- Browse to domain (usually keep the directory blank), use a different name than “admin”
- Finish installation
- Open dashboard
- Login
- View finished site
